Qualifications
- Requires Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of industrial experience in electrical design or electromechanical systems.
- Proficient in power distribution, conversion, monitoring, controls, and system integration.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design and validation for major subsystems and product areas.
- Translate system requirements into robust electrical designs.
- Own schematics, drawings, calculations, specifications, and bills of material.
- Drive design reviews, trade studies, prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with mechanical, systems, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and project teams.
- Mentor early‑career engineers and reinforce electrical design standards.
- Support project planning, effort estimation, and execution.
- Stay current with advancements in power systems, microgrids, renewable energy, and power conversion technologies.
- Work with suppliers and Applied partners to deliver results.
- Contribute to projects that impact communities across North America.
