Job summary

Nebius Group is hiring an Electrical Design Engineer to support the design, review, and technical development of electrical systems for data centers across the United States. The role requires hands-on data center design experience and the ability to work across conceptual design, design reviews, partner coordination, and technical decision-making.

You will evaluate both low-voltage and medium/high-voltage systems up to 11kV+, ensure Nebius standards and local regulations are met, and

Qualifications

• Data center electrical design experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems used in data centers.
• Experience with LV and/or MV/HV electrical infrastructure.
• Ability to review design documents, proposals, and partner deliverables.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, design requirements, and technical standards.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders and construction teams.
• Practical engineering mindset with broad thinking.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical design packages for data center projects.
• Support development of electrical design concepts for high-density data center environments.
• Evaluate UPS, LV, MV, and HV electrical infrastructure up to 11kV+.
• Review cable distribution and data hall layouts.
• Coordinate with mechanical, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Ensure designs are buildable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.
• Assess designs for concurrently maintainable data center operations.
