Job summary

Hyper Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and support electrical systems powering our data center infrastructure. You will work with internal engineering, manufacturing, and partners nationwide to ensure reliable, compliant designs and successful project execution.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in power distribution, NEC/UL standards, and commissioning support, with the ability to coordinate across distributed teams and multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably data center or power distribution settings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and ability to read schematics/blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of UL1062, UL891, and NEC standards.
• Experience reading electrical drawings and conducting testing/commissioning support.
• Experience in contract manufacturing environments and cross-site projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and implement electrical systems for data center infrastructure, including power distribution and backup systems.
• Develop and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, layouts, and specifications.
• Support commissioning, testing, and issue resolution for performance and safety.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet schedules and customer deadlines.
• Provide technical guidance to troubleshoot electrical issues across design, construction, and operation phases.
