Job summary

Nebius is building next‑generation data center infrastructure in the United States. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will support design reviews and the technical development of electrical systems for our US data center portfolio, including low- and high-voltage schemes.

This role suits an engineer with hands-on data center design experience who can drive concepts, reviews, and decisions across internal teams and external partners. Remote work within the US is supported.

Qualifications

• Data center electrical design experience.
• Understanding of electrical systems in critical/data-center environments.
• Experience with LV and MV/HV infrastructure.
• Ability to read contracts and design requirements.
• Strong communication with internal stakeholders and partners.
• Practical engineering mindset beyond narrow specialization.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical design packages for data center projects including internal concepts and third-party designs.
• Support development of electrical design concepts for high-density data center environments.
• Evaluate UPS, LV, MV, and HV electrical infrastructure up to 11 kV+.
• Review cable distribution, electrical pathways, and data hall layouts.
• Coordinate with mechanical, construction, and operations teams to ensure buildability and maintainability.
• Assess designs for concurrent maintainability in high power-density environments.
• Identify alternative design solutions and technical tradeoffs.
