NuPeople is seeking an Electrical Development Engineer to bridge customers with internal teams for early-stage data center electrical design. The role emphasizes conceptual power distribution architectures for large-scale campuses and involves interaction with R&D and customer meetings.

The candidate should have 5+ years in data center electrical engineering, CAD proficiency, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in data center electrical engineering across design, operations, or pre-sales.
• Ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience with power distribution systems for high-density compute.
• Proficiency with CAD tools for electrical layouts.

Responsabilidades

• Support early-stage conceptual electrical design efforts, establishing initial power distribution architecture for new campuses and site acquisitions.
• Utilize CAD or similar tools to create electrical design sketches and layouts.
• Develop and maintain standardized electrical design template blocks.
• Develop specialized power distribution layouts tailored for AI infrastructure.
• Partner with internal R&D teams to support evolving infrastructure requirements.
• Act as a technical SME during customer meetings, translating requirements into actionable design strategies.
• Support the broader design engineering team on fast-track projects, value engineering, and scope changes.
• Conduct initial site due diligence, evaluating utility design, power constraints, and infrastructure readiness.
