Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Power Systems Engineer to support major commercial, mission-critical, and data centre developments across multiple U.S. locations.

You will perform power system studies, lead design across interdisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and engage in field verification and commissioning. A strong background in power analysis software, CAD/BIM, and applicable codes is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience in commercial, mission-critical, high-rise, or data center construction.
• EIT certification preferred; pursuing PE licensure.
• LEED accreditation is a plus.
• Technical skills include power analysis software, CAD/BIM tools, lighting modeling software, and knowledge of applicable electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform core power system studies, including fault calculations and protective device coordination.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, layouts, and equipment plans.
• Collaborate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and civil teams to resolve constructability issues.
• Mentor junior staff and support field verification and commissioning.
