Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is looking for a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to support construction teams through advanced modeling and coordination. Working with BIM tools, you will create and maintain accurate models, perform clash detection, and aid with project planning. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills and a solid understanding of electrical or construction practices. This position can be fully remote or based out of either the Lexington, KY HQ or Greenville, SC office.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems.
• Integrating design information into the 3D model.
• Identifying and resolving spatial conflicts using clash detection tools.
• Generating drawings and visualizations to support construction planning.
• Ensuring the BIM model aligns with design changes and project updates.
