Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to support construction and engineering teams through advanced 3D modeling and coordination. Responsibilities include creating detailed 3D models, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring alignment between designs and on-site realities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical and/or construction practices and standards, as well as proficiency in BIM software. This position can be fully remote or based out of the Lexington, KY HQ or Greenville, SC office.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software and the ability to create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Sound understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards.
• Ability to analyze and interpret design information.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software.
• Integrating design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
• Identifying and resolving spatial conflicts between different building components.

Skills

Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
