Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to support construction and engineering teams through advanced 3D modeling and coordination. This role involves creating and maintaining accurate BIM models, performing clash detection, and generating construction documentation. Successful candidates will have strong BIM software skills, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of electrical and construction practices. The position can be fully remote or based in Lexington, KY or Greenville, SC.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks.
• Ability to analyze and interpret design information.
• Sound understanding of construction methods and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software.
• Integrating design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
• Identifying and resolving spatial conflicts using clash detection tools.
• Generating drawings, schedules, and visualizations to support construction.
