Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician who will support construction and engineering teams through advanced 3D modeling and coordination. This role includes creating and maintaining accurate BIM models, performing clash detection, and generating construction documentation. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in BIM tools, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of electrical and construction practices. This position can be fully remote or based in Lexington, KY, or Greenville, SC.

Qualifications

• Proficient in BIM and able to create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards.
• Ability to analyze and interpret design information.

Responsibilities

• Create and update 3D models of electrical systems.
• Integrate design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
• Identify and resolve spatial conflicts using clash detection tools.
• Generate drawings and visualizations from the 3D model.

Skills

Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
