Job summary

Actalent is seeking a remote Electrical BIM Designer to develop and maintain detailed Revit models for large industrial and commercial projects. You will perform clash detection, coordinate with MEP teams, and support field installation by integrating 3D scans and site data.

Requirements include 2+ years in VDC/BIM with electrical focus, proficiency in Revit (LOD 350-400) and AutoCAD, and familiarity with Evolve Electrical.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of VDC/BIM modeling experience with electrical focus.
• Proficiency in Revit to create, modify and manage detailed 3D electrical models.
• Experience with LOD 350-400 electrical models for construction-level detail and coordination.
• Proficiency in sleeve drawings, embedded field points, and shop drawings coordination.
• Experience using AutoCAD alongside Revit for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D electrical models in Revit per project requirements and BIM/VDC workflows.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and external stakeholders for coordinated models.
• Perform clash detection to identify and resolve conflicts between electrical systems and other building systems.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to deliver integrated, clash-free designs for constructability and field installation.
• Support field operations remotely by integrating 3D scans and field data into project models.
