Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to develop and coordinate electrical models and drawings within BIM environments. You will work with engineers, project teams, and field personnel to ensure constructible, code-compliant designs and support prefabrication planning.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of electrical detailing experience and an Associate degree or equivalent in electrical design or drafting, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Evolve, and Navisworks.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience in electrical design or drafting.
2+ years of experience in electrical detailing or modeling.
Proficient in BIM tools and coordination with engineers and field teams.

Responsibilities

Develops and modifies electrical models, drawings, and schematics using Revit, AutoCAD, Evolve and Navisworks.
Coordinates with engineers, project teams, and field personnel to produce constructible and code-compliant designs.
Identifies and assists in resolving model clashes through BIM coordination processes.
Applies project specifications, industry standards, and local codes to modeling work.
Supports material take-offs and prefabrication planning activities.
Maintains version control and documentation of design revisions.
