Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate electrical 3D models in Revit.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve design conflicts.
• Collaborate with MEP teams to ensure coordinated and constructible designs.
• Provide remote support to field operations and project teams.
• Integrate 3D scans and field data into project models.
• Prepare and manage technical documentation, drawings, and schedules.

Insight Global is seeking a VDC Designer, Electrical for a top construction client. This candidate will play a key role in supporting complex construction projects through the creation, maintenance, and coordination of detailed electrical BIM models. The ideal candidate will have strong Revit expertise, hands-on electrical trade experience, and experience working with LOD 350-400 models. This individual will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and MEP teams to ensure clash-free, constructible designs while providing remote support to field operations. The role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale projects using cutting-edge BIM and VDC technologies, helping drive project success through accurate modeling, coordination, and innovative construction solutions.
