Actalent is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to support large-scale industrial and commercial construction projects in a fully remote capacity. The role emphasizes creating and coordinating 3D electrical models in Revit, aligning with BIM/VDC workflows and field data integration.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure coordinated models, perform clash detection, and produce shop drawings and embedded field points.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in VDC/BIM modeling, preferably focused on electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Revit for detailed 3D electrical models and coordination.
• Experience with LOD 350-400 electrical models to support construction-level detailing.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D electrical models in Revit that comply with project requirements and BIM/VDC workflows.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure aligned models across disciplines.
• Perform clash detection to identify and resolve conflicts between electrical systems and other building systems.
• Work with MEP teams to produce integrated, clash-free designs supporting constructability and field installation.
• Support field operations remotely by integrating 3D scans and field data into project models.
• Prepare, update, and manage technical drawings, schedules, sleeve drawings, embedded field points, and coordinated shop drawings.
• Conduct quality checks on models and documentation for accuracy and deadlines.
• Apply BIM/VDC technologies to improve processes and coordination.
• Utilize digital collaboration tools for model sharing and communication with project teams.
