Job summary

EY is seeking a Staff Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support enterprise delivery and ingress operations across AWS, AVI, Azure, DNS, certificates, routing and edge security. The role emphasizes operational excellence, automation, and documentation in a hands-on, development-path environment.

The position is hands-on with a defined growth path, working with multiple teams and vendors to maintain service availability, performance, and security.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in networking, cloud operations, load balancing, application delivery, infrastructure support, or a related technical role.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, routing, and high-availability fundamentals.
• Ability to follow change controls, runbooks, escalation procedures, and documentation standards.
• Strong learning agility, communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ingress and edge platform health, availability, alerts, capacity, and service performance.
• Perform initial triage of connectivity, load balancing, DNS, certificates, routing, and traffic delivery issues.
• Follow runbooks to collect evidence, validate health, and escalate high-impact issues.
• Participate in incident response, maintenance, and on-call support as assigned.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates, technical notes, and operational records.
• Support AWS ALB/NLB, AVI load balancers, Azure ingress services, and related components.
• Assist with onboarding, migration, and release activities for applications, URLs, domains, APIs, and services.
• Use Terraform and Git workflows for repeatable configuration activities.
• Document Infrastructure-as-Code changes and contribute to runbooks and standards.
