Job summary

Alpha Resources, LLC, a manufacturer of certified reference materials and analytical consumables, seeks a Territory Sales Manager to expand an established East Coast territory. This remote role covers the East Coast with a strong emphasis on building relationships, growing recurring business, reactivating dormant accounts, and developing new opportunities.

The role requires 5+ years in outside B2B sales, experience with industrial/lab customers, and willingness to travel 50–60% with overnight

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside B2B sales with a proven territory track record.
• Experience with industrial, laboratory, manufacturing, or technical customers.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and territory-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% with regular overnight stays.
• Centrally located within the territory or willing to relocate.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales relationship for customers and prospects within the territory.
• Reactivate dormant and declining accounts and identify growth opportunities.
• Develop new business with laboratories, steel/foundry operations, specialty metals, manufacturers and other industrial customers.
• Conduct customer visits, product discussions and application-level support.
• Plan and manage travel efficiently, including customer appointments and territory routes.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity and opportunity information.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and customer needs.
• Represent Alpha Resources at trade shows and technical conferences.
