Job summary

CVS Health is hiring an EAP Clinical Counselor for its Aetna Mental Well-being program, delivering 24/7 mental health support nationwide via video, chat or phone. Fully remote in the USA, with shifts that may vary per business needs and periodic bidding.

The role requires crisis intervention experience, a licensed behavioral health professional in the residing state, and collaboration with a team to ensure timely access to services. 40-hour weeks with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Active, unrestricted behavioral health license per state requirements (LPC/LMFT/LCSW/LMHC etc.).
• 24x7x365 call center coverage required.
• Experience facilitating positive behavior change in patients/clients.
• Experience handling mental health, psychiatric care, family situations and relationship concerns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and information in a call center.
• Assess risk and mental health needs to develop immediate safety plans.
• Understand levels of care to guide appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Collaborate with a professional team to ensure continuity of care for all members.
• Maintain confidential documentation meeting regulatory requirements.
• Maintain licensure and engage in ongoing professional development.
