CVS Health's Aetna Mental Well-being team is expanding its nationwide, 100% remote clinical counseling capacity in the United States. The EAP Clinical Counselor provides crisis intervention, triage, and short-term counseling via video, phone, or chat, delivering timely, high-quality mental health services.

This role requires licensure in the state of residence and involves coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team to support members and families.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage.
• Experience facilitating positive behavior change.
• Knowledge of mental health and substance use care pathways.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and information in a call center setting.
• Perform risk, substance use and mental health assessments to guide immediate safety actions.
• Guide members to appropriate levels of care based on assessment.
• Provide information on mental health resources and aid linkage to services.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure positive clinical outcomes and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation to meet risk management and regulatory requirements.
