CVS Health is hiring an EAP Clinical Counselor for its Aetna Mental Well-being program. The role provides 24/7 telephone-based mental health assessments and counseling to members nationwide via video, chat, or phone.

This is a fully remote position in the USA with a shift system and ongoing eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must hold a valid independent behavioral health license per state requirements, have crisis intervention experience, and be able to

Qualifications

• 12+ months of crisis intervention experience.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage required; holidays included.
• Experience facilitating positive behavior change in patients/clients.
• Experience with mental health, psychiatric care, family situations and relationship concerns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and informational services in a call center.
• Develop immediate action/safety plans based on urgency.
• Understand levels of care to inform appropriate care recommendations.
• Explain mental health resources and connect members to services.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain documentation with risk management and regulatory requirements.
