Job summary

CVS Health is hiring an EAP Clinical Counselor to provide 24/7 counseling and information to members nationwide. This remote role focuses on assessment, triage, and short-term problem resolution in a call center setting.

You will assess urgent mental health needs, coordinate care, and guide members to resources while maintaining strict privacy and regulatory compliance. A state-licensed behavioral health professional will join a dedicated team delivering high-quality services.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent licensed behavioral health clinician per state regulations.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage required.
• Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.
• Experience handling mental health, psychiatric care and family/relationship concerns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, consultation, counseling and information in a call center setting.
• Conduct risk, substance abuse and mental health assessments and develop immediate action/safety plans.
• Assess level of care needs and recommend appropriate services.
• Collaborate with members to understand their needs and support their change goals.
• Document accurately and maintain confidentiality per policy.
