CVS Health is hiring an EAP Clinical Counselor for a fully remote role in the United States. The position focuses on timely, high-quality mental health support via video, live chat, or phone for members nationwide.

You will assess clinical needs, coordinate resources, and ensure confidentiality in a fast-paced call center environment. Qualified candidates hold a state-licensed behavioral health credential, have crisis intervention experience, and can work 24/7 shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health clinical license to practice per state regulations.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage needed, holiday coverage is expected.
• Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.
• Experience handling mental health, psychiatric care, family situations and relationship concerns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and information in a call center setting.
• Develop immediate action/safety plans based on urgency.
• Advise on levels of care and refer to resources to support care needs.
• Communicate effectively with members to align with their theory of change.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete documentation per risk management and regulatory requirements.
