CVS Health is hiring an EAP Clinical Counselor to deliver 24/7 mental health support to members via video, chat or phone. This fully remote role requires a licensed behavioral health professional with crisis intervention experience and a strong focus on timely, high-quality care across the United States.

The position emphasizes risk assessment, resource coordination and ongoing collaboration with a professional team to ensure accessible, confidential services and adherence to state licensure

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health clinical license per state regulations.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage required; holidays included.
• Experience facilitating positive behavior change.
• Experience with mental health, psychiatric care, family situations and relationship concerns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and information in a call center setting.
• Assess risk and safety; develop action plans based on urgency.
• Guide care level recommendations based on clinical assessment.
• Provide resources and information to support connections to services and programs.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure continuity of care and quality outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete documentation per policy.
