Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a licensed mental health professional to join our EAP Mental Well-being team as a remote Clinical Counselor in the USA. You will assess, triage, and provide counseling and information via telephone, video, or live chat, guiding members to appropriate care and resources.

This role requires a current independent behavioral health license and 1+ years of crisis intervention experience, with 24/7 call center availability and strong collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
24x7x365 call center coverage needed; holiday coverage is expected.
Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.
Experience in handling mental health, psychiatric care, family situations and relationship concerns preferred.

Responsibilities

Provision of telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and informational services in a call center environment.
Provides risk, substance abuse and mental health assessments to develop immediate action/safety plans.
Assists with determining levels of care and makes appropriate referrals.
Provides information to members regarding mental health, substance abuse, and related programs to aid access to resources.
Collaborates with a team of professionals to support positive clinical outcomes.
Maintains documentation and confidentiality in line with policies.
