CVS Health is hiring an EAP Clinical Counselor to provide 24/7 telephone, video, or chat-based mental health support to members nationwide. This remote role focuses on crisis intervention, risk assessment, and connecting members with appropriate resources.

The position requires a master’s in behavioral health counseling and an unrestricted license to practice, with 24/7 call center coverage expectations. Strong collaboration and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, LCMHC, LICSW, LISW, Clinical Psychologist) per state regulations.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage is required.
• Experience facilitating positive behavior change in clients.
• Experience handling mental health, psychiatric care, family situations and relationship concerns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and information in a call center setting.
• Develop immediate action/safety plans based on urgency and risk assessment.
• Advise on levels of care for mental health and substance use.
• Educate members on mental health resources and facilitate linkage to services.
• Collaborate with a professional team to ensure continuity of care for members.
