Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks an experienced EAP Clinical Counselor for the Aetna Mental Well-being program. The role delivers immediate, 24/7 mental health support via video, chat, or phone, in a remote USA setting.

You will assess, triage and counsel members, guiding care pathways and safety planning as part of a nationwide service. The position requires at least 1 year of crisis intervention experience, a valid behavioral health license, and willingness to work in a 24/7 call center

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health clinical license per state regulations.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage is required.
• Experience facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.
• Experience with mental health, psychiatric care, and family situations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and information in a 24/7 call center.
• Conduct risk, substance abuse and mental health assessments to inform safety plans.
• Recommend appropriate levels of care based on assessment.
• Build rapport with members and explain mental health resources and treatment options.
