Job summary

CVS Health is hiring an EAP Clinical Counselor within Aetna Mental Well-being to provide 24/7 remote mental health support across the USA. You will conduct assessments, triage and crisis interventions via video, chat or phone, linking members to appropriate care and resources.

Requires a Master’s in behavioral health counseling and an active licensed clinical credential. This is a full-time remote role with shift variations to cover a 24/7 operation and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health clinical license to practice per state regulations (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, LCMHC, LICSW, LISW, Clinical Psychologist).
• 24x7x365 call center coverage required, holiday coverage expected.
• Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavior change and handling mental health, psychiatric care, family situations and relationship concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and informational services in a call center.
• Conduct risk, substance abuse and mental health assessments with immediate safety planning.
• Recommend appropriate levels of care based on assessment and needs.
• Collaborate with a team to support positive clinical outcomes and continuity of care.
