CVS Health Corporation is hiring an EAP Clinical Counselor for the Aetna Mental Well-Being program. This fully remote role supports members nationwide via video, chat, or phone, with a 24/7 call center operation.

The ideal candidate has a master's in behavioral health counseling, crisis intervention experience, and an active state license. Responsibilities include assessments, safety planning, and referrals, while maintaining strict confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health clinical license per state regulations.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage required, including holidays.
• Experience facilitating positive behavior change.
• Experience with mental health, psychiatric care, and family/relationship concerns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling, and information in a call center setting.
• Conduct risk and mental health assessments to develop immediate safety plans.
• Assess levels of care to guide appropriate referrals and support.
• Build rapport and collaborate with members to align with their change goals.
• Offer information on resources and treatment programs for stress relief.
• Document interactions accurately, maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
