Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks an EAP Clinical Counselor for Aetna Mental Well-being. You will deliver timely mental health care via video, chat or phone from a fully remote USA setting, supporting members with assessments, safety plans, and referrals in a 24/7 call center.

The role requires a Master’s in behavioral health counseling, active licensure, and experience in crisis intervention, with ability to work flexible shifts and maintain strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health clinical license to practice per state regulations.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage, holiday coverage expected.
• Experience facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.
• Experience with mental health, psychiatric care, family situations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling in a call center.
• Assess risk, substance use, and mental health to develop immediate safety plans.
• Know levels of care to guide appropriate referrals.
• Build rapport and align with member's theory of change; share resources.
• Document information accurately; protect confidentiality per policies.
• Maintain current behavioral health license and pursue professional development.
