Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in the United States is seeking an experienced EAP Clinical Counselor for a fully remote role. You will provide 24/7 telephone, video, and chat counseling within Aetna Mental Well-being's EAP, Resources for Living, supporting members nationwide.

The position requires a Master’s in behavioral health, a current independent clinical license, and crisis intervention experience. You will work in a call center environment, ensuring timely access and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health clinical license to practice per state regulations.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage needed, holiday coverage is expected.
• Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, consultation, counseling and information services in a call center.
• Conduct risk, substance abuse and mental health assessments and develop immediate safety plans.
• Recommend levels of care based on assessment and needs.
• Educate members about mental health resources and linkage to care.
• Collaborate with a professional team to ensure continuity of care for members.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with risk management and regulatory requirements.
