Job summary

CenterWell, a Humana company, seeks an E-Referral Specialist to serve as the first contact for referrals, ensuring accurate data capture, compliance, and timely follow-up. The role reports to the E-Referral Supervisor and supports continuity of care.

You will monitor multiple e-referral systems, manage email requests, verify eligibility, and maintain logs and communications with branch, sales, and leadership while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typing speed of 40 wpm or higher.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor multiple e-referral systems to identify new referrals and manage alerts.
• Manage emails for referral requests and follow up on communications.
• Assess patient eligibility from documentation (service area, orders, insurance).
• Track status of referrals and provide weekly status updates.
