Job summary

CenterWell is seeking an E-Referral Specialist to serve as the initial contact for referrals, ensuring accurate data collection, documentation, and timely follow-up across e-referral systems.

This full-time, remote position reports to the E-Referral Supervisor and supports care continuity by coordinating with branches, sales and leadership. Strong organizational and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Typing 40 words per minute or more.
• Comprehend and apply principles of basic math while analyzing data and generating reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Able to meet strict timelines.
• Communication with all levels of management.
• Time management and accuracy across multiple screens/systems.
• Time management skills and can work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor multiple e-referral systems to identify new referrals and manage alerts and notifications.
• Monitor email for requests to pull referrals from all applicable referral systems; perform follow-up and manage communications.
• Scan documentation to determine patient eligibility for services (service area, orders, insurance, etc.).
• Monitor status of all referrals received; follow up and report status weekly.
• Communicate with branch, sales, and leadership by email or phone for status updates and referral decisions.
• Daily management of ERST log with all referrals and ROC decisions.
• Maintain acceptable productivity level per department standards.
• Comply with regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and company best practices.
