Job summary

Wilson Elser is seeking an E-billing Timekeeper/Rate Compliance Administrator for a fully remote role available to candidates in states with Wilson Elser offices.

The position focuses on setting up and maintaining client/matter information in the firm’s financial database and requires collaboration with attorneys, clients, and middleware vendors to ensure accurate e-billing submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 1–3 years in legal e-billing may substitute for education.
• Experience with middleware systems (Legal Exchange, TyMetrix 360, Legal-X, Serengeti/Legal Tracker) is a plus.
• Knowledge of LEDES billing formats is a plus.
• Intermediate Excel and Outlook skills.
• Strong reading, analytical and problem-solving abilities; good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track submission of timekeeper/rate data to billing middleware per client and system requirements.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, middleware vendors and other teams to resolve timekeeper/rate issues during invoice upload.
• Identify and document timekeeper/rate requirements for each client’s e-billing process.
• Assess e-billing timekeeper/rate submission processes for improvements and efficiencies.
• Participate in firm-wide and departmental compliance projects and initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
