Job summary

Wilson Elser in White Plains, NY is seeking an E-billing Timekeeper/Rate Compliance Administrator to set up and maintain client/matter information in the firm’s financial database.

You will manage submissions to billing middleware, liaise with attorneys and vendors, document client e-billing requirements, and contribute to compliance projects. The position is full-time, on-site in White Plains with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 1–3 years in legal e-billing may substitute.
• Knowledge of legal billing and middleware systems a plus (e.g. LEDES).
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong reading comprehension, analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages and tracks submission of timekeeper/rate data to billing middleware sites.
• Liaises with attorneys, clients, middleware vendors and other teams to resolve issues.
• Identifies and documents timekeeper/rate requirements for each client’s e-billing.
• Assesss e-billing timekeeper/rate submission process for improvements.
• Participates in firm-wide and departmental compliance projects.
