Job summary

Wilson Elser is seeking an E-billing Timekeeper/Rate Compliance Administrator for a fully remote role available to candidates in any state with an office. You will help set up and maintain client/matter data in the firm’s financial system.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, knowledge of e-billing and middleware, and strong Excel skills. You will liaise with attorneys, clients and vendors to ensure accurate timekeeping and billing compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training; 1-3 years in legal e-billing preferred.
• Familiarity with LEDES formats a plus.
• Intermediate Excel and Outlook skills.
• Strong reading, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear written and oral communication with attorneys, staff, vendors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage submission of timekeeper/rate data to billing middleware sites per client and system requirements.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and vendors to resolve timekeeper/rate issues during invoice uploads.
• Identify and document timekeeper/rate requirements for each client’s e-billing process.
