Job summary

Wilson Elser, a national law firm, invites applications for the E-billing Timekeeper/Rate Compliance Administrator role. This fully remote position welcomes candidates from any state with an office.

The role involves setting up and maintaining client/matter data in the firm’s financial system, plus coordinating with attorneys, clients, and vendors to ensure accurate e-billing submissions and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree. Equivalent training and 1-3 experience in legal e-billing may substitute for education.
• Knowledge of legal billing and Middleware systems a plus (i.e. Legal Exchange, TyMetrix 360, Legal-X, Serengeti/Legal Tracker)
• Knowledge of LEDES billing formats a plus
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Manages and tracks submission of timekeeper/rate data to various legal billing middleware sites following client-specific and system requirements.
• Liaises with attorneys, clients, middleware vendors and other teams to resolve timekeeper/rate issues during invoice upload.
• Identifies and documents timekeeper/rate requirements for each client’s e-billing process.
• Assesses e-billing timekeeper/rate submission process for improvements and efficiencies.
• Participates in firm-wide and departmental compliance projects and initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned
