Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced E-Billing Specialist for a fully remote role. You will manage the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client guidelines while coordinating with attorneys and finance teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in legal billing, strong Excel/Office skills, and familiarity with Aderant or similar software. A degree or equivalent experience is required, and a competitive bonus plan is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 3–4 years of legal billing experience.
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles related to billing.
• Experience interpreting client billing agreements and outside counsel guidelines.
• Extensive experience with electronic billing platforms and billing vendors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support the full billing lifecycle including pre-bill review and invoice preparation.
• Handle electronic billing submissions, appeals management, and ongoing invoice follow-up.
• Collaborate with attorneys, finance professionals and clients to ensure timely, accurate billing.
• Maintain compliance with client-specific billing guidelines and outside counsel guidelines.
