Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced E-Billing Specialist for a fully remote position. You will manage the full billing lifecycle, including pre-bill reviews, invoice preparation, and electronic submissions, while ensuring compliance with client guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of legal billing experience, knowledge of Aderant or similar software, and strong Excel/Office skills to support high-volume, deadline-driven environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–4 years of legal billing experience in a law firm or professional services.
• Understanding of general accounting principles related to billing, invoice adjustments, appeals, and AR processes.
• Experience interpreting client billing agreements and outside counsel guidelines.
• Experience with electronic billing platforms and billing vendors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office applications.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the full billing lifecycle, including pre-bill review, invoice preparation, electronic billing submissions, appeals management, and ongoing invoice follow-up.
• Partner with attorneys, finance professionals, and clients to ensure timely and accurate billing while maintaining client guidelines and compliance.
