Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Legal E-Billing Specialist to support the full billing lifecycle in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of legal billing experience, exposure to e-billing platforms, and proficiency with Aderant, Excel, and Word. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3–4 years of legal billing experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles related to billing, adjustments, appeals, accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

• Support the full billing lifecycle: pre-bill review, invoice preparation, electronic submissions, appeals management, and follow-up with clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys, finance professionals, and clients to ensure timely, accurate billing and adherence to client guidelines and e-billing requirements.
• Interpret and apply client billing agreements and outside counsel guidelines to ensure compliant invoicing.
