Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced E-Billing Specialist to support the full billing lifecycle in a fully remote role. You will handle pre-bill review, invoice preparation, electronic submissions, appeals, and follow-up, collaborating with attorneys, finance, and clients to ensure compliant, timely billing.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of legal billing experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and strong knowledge of electronic billing platforms, Aderant, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–4 years of legal billing experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Experience with electronic billing platforms and client billing guidelines.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and standard Office applications.
• Ability to interpret and apply client billing agreements and outside counsel guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support full billing lifecycle: pre-bill review, invoice preparation, electronic submissions.
• Manage appeals, and ongoing invoice follow-up with attorneys, finance, and clients.
• Ensure billing compliance with client guidelines and outside counsel requirements.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and clients to ensure timely and accurate billing.
