LEGACY LEGAL RECRUITING LLC is seeking an experienced E-Billing Specialist for a respected Roseland, NJ law firm. The role focuses on managing electronic billing for attorneys, ensuring accurate time entry, transfers, write-downs, and rate adjustments.

Ideal candidate has at least 5 years of legal billing experience with Elite 3E, eHub, and Microsoft Excel proficiency, and can liaise with attorneys and management to meet billing deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of billing experience within a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of electronic billing platforms and legal billing procedures.
• Experience with Elite 3E, eHub, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the billing process for assigned attorneys, including billing preparation and review, time entry edits, transfers, write-downs and write-offs, rate adjustments and troubleshooting, and client billing inquiries.
• Oversee high-volume electronic billing activities, including e-billing setup and maintenance, invoice submissions, accrual processing, appeals management, and e-billing collections and related correspondence.
• Maintain and update attorney and client billing rates, including establishing and managing rate sets.
• Prepare and distribute billing and revenue reports as needed.
• Develop strong working relationships with attorneys, legal assistants, and firm management to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team to meet monthly and annual billing goals and deadlines.
• Document and maintain all billing-related communications within the firm's document management system (iManage).
