Job summary

Green Key Resources LLC is seeking an experienced E-Billing Specialist to join the Accounting team of a well-established law firm in New Jersey. The role focuses on accurate, timely billing and collections, partnering with attorneys and internal stakeholders to optimize electronic billing workflows.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of law firm billing experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with Elite 3E and electronic billing platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of law firm billing experience.
• Experience with Elite 3E or similar legal billing software.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full billing cycle for assigned attorneys, including billing preparation, transfers, write-downs, write-offs, time entry adjustments, and client billing inquiries.
• Handle all aspects of electronic billing, including matter setup, invoice submission, accrual management, appeals, collections, and client correspondence.
• Maintain and update billing rates and rate structures within the billing system.
• Prepare and distribute billing and financial reports as needed.
• Build strong working relationships with attorneys, administrative staff, and firm leadership.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team to support monthly and year-end billing objectives.
• Document billing-related communications and maintain accurate records within the firm's document management system.
• Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and electronic billing requirements.
