Job summary

Connell Foley LLP is seeking an e-billing specialist based in their Roseland, NJ office. The role sits in the accounting department and reports to the Assistant Controller. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in law firm billing and experience with Elite 3E, ehub, and Excel.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in law firm billing activities.
• Experience using Elite’s 3E and ehub software as well as Excel.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills; organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle all billing procedures for assigned attorneys, including transfers, write downs/offs, time entry edits, rate issues, and client inquiries.
• Perform heavy electronic billing: setups, submissions, accruals, appeals, e-billing collections and correspondence.
• Modify billing rates in the system and set up rate sets.
• Prepare various billing reports.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with billing attorneys, secretaries and management.
• Work with accounting team to achieve monthly and annual billing objectives.
• Record all communications in the document management system (iManage).
