Job summary

Gulf Winds International is seeking a Driver Onboarding Specialist to coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training for new drivers while ensuring safety and compliance. This remote role requires strong organization, excellent communication, and experience with onboarding systems.

You will work cross-functionally to collect documents, run drug screening, and track progress, driving efficiency and cost-effective hiring.

Responsibilities

• Ensure All Required Documents are Received and verified.
• Maintain organized records for compliance.
• Coordinate drug screening and track results.
• Run/Report tracking and provide updates to management.
• Schedule orientation sessions and brief drivers on policies and expectations.
• Arrange pre-lease inspections for vehicles.
• Ensure documentation, licenses, permits, and certificates are maintained.
• Collaborate with training to enhance driver skills and safety.
• Promote a safety-first culture and conduct refresher courses.
• Serve as primary contact for new drivers and address questions.
• Assess onboarding process and implement improvements.
