Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Engineer for our DevOps Domain Consulting team to become a trusted technical advisor on Idira solutions. You will work with sales, product, and engineering to position, demonstrate, and evaluate Idira to customers, helping them secure machine identities and secrets across pipelines and hybrid environments.

You will lead demos, run POCs, and collaborate with account teams to articulate business value while staying current on CI/CD, AI workflows, and cloud

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering role in cybersecurity or DevOps tooling.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Understanding of SSL/TLS, SSH, PKI, and HSMs.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks, LLMs, or autonomous AI workflows.
• Development experience in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js; scripting with PowerShell or Bash; REST APIs.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts and RFIs/RFPs clearly.
• Curiosity about the DevOps landscape and AI orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations to create excitement around Idira technology.
• Conduct POC evaluations of Idira products with prospective customers and position value to win technically.
• Act as the technical expert and trusted advisor for machine identity security solutions during the sales cycle.
• Partner with Account Executives to articulate value to technical and business stakeholders.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand environments, challenges, and security goals.
• Translate requirements into solution architecture and deployment strategies; collaborate with R&D to influence direction.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, DevOps tools, CI/CD, Agentic AI frameworks, and best practices.
• Assist in marketing efforts to generate pipeline and increase leads.
• Deliver technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions to clients and internal teams.
• Travel as needed to meet customers, attend conferences, or conduct on-site workshops.
