Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a passionate Solutions Engineer to join our DevOps Domain Consulting team, focusing on Idira solutions for securing machine identities and secrets across pipelines, cloud-native apps, AI agents, and hybrid infrastructure.

You will collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering to position, demonstrate, and evaluate Idira for customers, delivering demos, POCs, and technical workshops while staying ahead of DevOps trends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering role in cybersecurity or DevOps.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins.
• Knowledge of cryptographic security technologies such as SSL/TLS, SSH, PKI, and HSMs.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks, LLMs, or autonomous AI workflows.
• Programming experience in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
• Scripting with PowerShell or Bash; ability to work with REST APIs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; RFIs/RFPs experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations to create excitement around Idira technology.
• Conduct POC evaluations of Idira products with prospective customers. Utilize your sales experience to position Idira’s value and differentiators to acquire the technical win.
• Act as the technical expert and trusted advisor for machine identity security solutions during the sales cycle.
• Partner with Account Executives to articulate the value of Idira’s solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, challenges, and security goals.
• Translate customer requirements into solution architecture and deployment strategies. Collaborate with product management and R&D to influence product direction and resolve customer issues.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging DevOps tools, CI/CD, Agentic AI frameworks, and best practices.
• Assist in marketing efforts to generate pipeline and increase leads.
• Deliver technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions to clients and internal teams.
• Travel as needed to meet customers, attend conferences, or conduct on-site workshops.
