Qualifications

• MIS/Computer Science degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years in a pre-sales technical role, ideally with identity management or security tech.
• Experience with government IT environments and security requirements (NIST, FedRAMP, ATOs, STIGs).
• Ability to build relationships across levels to drive solutions; strong leadership and consensus skills.
• Identity security proficiency: IAM, ID governance, PAM; security concepts like auth, encryption.
• Hands-on Windows Server/AD, LDAP/Directory Services, UNIX/Linux familiarity.
• Cloud IaaS/PaaS experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Certifications in security (CISSP, CEH) desirable.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on Idira Identity Security solutions for public sector customers and partners.
• Develop new and existing technical relationships within accounts, partners, and customers.
• Plan, execute, and manage POCs with public sector customers to demonstrate security solutions.
• Assist in RFP/RFI responses to position Idira effectively.
• Build and maintain relationships with technical teams and executives in public sector orgs.
• Support Idira partner network to communicate value to public sector clients.
• Represent Idira at industry events and marketing initiatives.
• Advocate customer requirements to Product Management and other teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams and mentor others as needed.
• Travel for client meetings and events (<50%).
