Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a District Systems Engineer to join our commercial sales team as a trusted technical advisor. You will provide pre-sales support, architect security solutions, and drive technical wins with customers across the district.

In this remote role, you will collaborate with sales, professional services, and customers to design and demonstrate solutions, conduct PoCs, and ensure successful deployments while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in pre-sales/sales engineering.
• Understanding of data networking, security architectures, and cloud computing.
• Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges.
• Influencing stakeholders; prior pre-sales experience is ideal.
• Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validations.
• Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing security solutions.
• Partnering with customer support to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
• Experience in complex multi-product sales processes is preferred.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to meet quotas with strategic technical plans.
• Design security architectures across the Palo Alto Networks portfolio.
