Job summary

We are seeking a District Service Manager to liaison with Mazda dealers, focusing on improving customer experience, service retention, and profitability across the assigned territory. This role emphasizes relationship building, profitability guidance, and marketing collaboration with Mazda teams.

Required are a bachelor’s degree in business-related field or equivalent experience, 4+ years of experience with leadership, and a valid driver’s license; daily travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, automotive technology, marketing, or related discipline preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 4+ years’ experience, with 2+ years in a sales related capacity; 4+ years overall work experience; 3+ years in a demonstrated leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective relationships with assigned Mazda dealers and Mazda colleagues to advance dealer service and parts operations, resulting in higher customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Perform profitability analyses, reviews, and consultation with dealership management to drive increased revenue and profits while managing costs.
• Review reports, scores, trends, and customer comments to identify gaps and implement best practices and follow-up.
• Assist in the development and execution of marketing messages and dealer merchandising across multiple platforms including digital/SEM/social; support national and regional marketing plans.
• Travel daily to visit dealers and manage dealer contacts, ensuring compliance with policies and direct dealers to resources for issue resolution.
