Job summary

Mazda Motor Corporation is seeking a District Service Manager to be the primary liaison with Mazda dealers, guiding service and parts operations to improve customer satisfaction and profitability. You will partner with dealer leadership to implement action plans and monitor performance to drive service retention and loyalty.

The role requires 4+ years experience, leadership responsibilities, and a valid state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, automotive technology, marketing, or related discipline preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 4+ years’ experience, with a proven track record of success.
• 2+ years in a sales-related capacity; wholesale automotive experience preferred; retail experience a plus.
• 4+ years overall work experience.
• 3+ years in a demonstrated leadership role.
• Valid Driver's License for state of residence (required).
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong business acumen in dealership operations.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with dealers, staff and senior management.
• Computer knowledge including spreadsheet and internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective relationships with assigned Mazda dealers and Mazda colleagues to advance service and parts operations.
• Work with dealership management to execute action plans to improve customer experience, service retention and profitability.
• Perform profitability analysis and consultation to help dealers drive revenue and control costs.
• Review reports, scores, trends, and customer comments to identify gaps and recommend best practices.
• Make recommendations to drive increased service traffic and wholesale parts business.
• Assist in development and execution of marketing messages across platforms including digital/SEM/social.
• Support and implement national and regional service and parts marketing plans.
• Achieve assigned parts sales objectives.
• Travel daily.
• Review reports regularly and guide dealers, ensure compliance with policies.
• Documentation of dealer contacts using the Dealer Business Contact System.
