Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a District Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science-related discipline or equivalent experience in technical sales.
• Experience achieving or exceeding commercial targets in life science capital equipment market.
• 5+ years leading individual contributors in a sales environment.
• Experience owning sales forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline management at a district level.
• Demonstrated application of structured continuous improvement or business system methodologies.
• Experience leading and operating effectively within a remote, geographically dispersed organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver district-level orders, revenue, and margin results across the SCIEX instrument portfolio through effective execution of regional sales strategy.
• Own district forecasting rigor, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly order and revenue commitments.
• Develop and execute district growth and action plans using DBS methodologies, visual management, and performance metrics.
• Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships and key opinion leader engagement across the Mid Atlantic region.
• Assess competitive and market dynamics, identify growth opportunities and risks, and implement timely countermeasures.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Service, Finance, Sales Operations, HR, IT, Legal) to achieve business objectives.
• Lead, coach, and performance-manage direct reports, enabling capability development, engagement, and succession readiness.
